「Aurora igloo was an amazing experience. It was so quiet, the scenery was serene and one had plenty of privacy. The bed was comfortable with fluffy down comforters and a mattress warmer. The location is a short distance from landmarks like glaciers, puffins and waterfalls. A few restaurants, gas station and grocery stores are also a short drive nearby. Just up the street is Hella Caves, which was a unique tour here. 」

The house includes a fully functional kitchen; full laundry facilities; sauna & hot tub; four separate bedrooms; and beautiful views. The house is close to the village of Laugarvatn which has numerous lunch/dinner options. I would recommend the Lakefront Villa for 2-3 couples or an extended family.」

「Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. 」

「Arrived early in the morning after all night flight from Canada. Very frustrated to learn this was a no contact check in hotel. No where in the description of the hotel did it say it would not have a reception desk.
