Unique rooms, great location

I liked choosing the room upon checkin since they are all styled very different. Room looked great although upclose some more maintenance could be done. Nevertheless really enjoyed our stay, the location is great. Walking distance to several lively areas!

Terrible hotel

Unbelievable terrible. Unclean bathroom, uncomfortable bed, very small tiny living room. With wosrt services i have ever met. DO NOT recommend this hotel at all. There are much more better choices in that area.

During my trip to Seoul, I stayed at Jongno Designers Hotel for a few days, and it exceeded my expectations. Located in the heart of Jongno, the hotel lets you enjoy the perfect mix of tradition and modernity. The location is excellent. Gwangjang Market, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Myeongdong, Insadong, and Bosingak are within walking distance or a short ride. I enjoyed shopping in Myeongdong, tried local foods like bindaetteok, yukhoe, and “kkwabaegi” at Gwangjang Market, and took relaxing walks along Cheonggyecheon and Insadong. Transportation is very convenient. Subway and bus stops are nearby, so taxis were rarely needed. Being in the city center, there is plenty to see and do without visiting major tourist spots. The hotel interior is stylish and cozy. The “Designers” concept is evident throughout. I was pleasantly surprised that the first floor sells snacks and drinks. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the electric heating pad kept me warm. The multi-outlet compatible with various plugs made charging easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. They greeted me with a smile, communicated well in English, and gave tips about local restaurants and attractions. The hotel also provides bike rental and free washer/dryer. Overall, Jongno Designers Hotel excels in location, cleanliness, service, amenities, and attention to detail. The calm atmosphere and comfortable space made my stay memorable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Review of The Designers Hotel Jongno - 1 Night 2 Days Stay I stayed at The Designers Hotel Jongno, located in the heart of Jongno-gu, Seoul, for one night and two days, and my experience was very satisfying. It was a precious time during my trip where I could feel warmth and attention to detail. The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s within walking distance to Jongno 3-ga subway station, and major tourist spots like Cheonggyecheon Stream and Gwangjang Market are nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and food adventures. The exterior has a modern design, and especially at night, the lighting adds a sophisticated atmosphere. Upon entering the lobby, I immediately felt a clean and warm ambiance, and the front desk staff greeted me with smiles, giving me a sense of comfort as if I had returned home. I arrived quite late at night, but the hotel’s 24-hour front desk service made checking in smooth and hassle-free. The staff were very professional and friendly, providing detailed information about the hotel facilities and the surrounding area, which made me look forward to the rest of my trip. Especially, having a staff member who spoke Chinese helped me communicate smoothly without any language barriers, which was really convenient. The room I stayed in was a modern-style double room. I stayed one night at Hotel The Designers Jongno during my trip to Seoul, and it was a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming from check-in, explaining everything clearly and making me feel truly cared for — it really set a positive tone for my stay. The location was perfect for sightseeing — Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, Insadong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Cheonggyecheon Stream were all within walking distance. It was so convenient to explore the area without needing transportation, and there were plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby as well. Parking was available for an additional fee, which was convenient since I had my car. There were also light snacks and simple meals available late at night, which was great when I didn’t feel like going out. When I had trouble ordering delivery, a staff member kindly helped me — I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and excellent service. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom and a shared microwave on each floor for heating food or drinks. I especially liked that the hotel had laundry and drying machines available. Since it rained during my stay, being able to wash and dry my clothes made everything feel so much fresher and more comfortable. ☔💛 Overall, I had an excellent stay. The combination of great location, cleanliness, and warm hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. I’d love to stay here again!

昨年に続き、1年ぶりに「ザ·デザイナーズホテル鍾路」のスタンダードルームに宿泊しました。 前回の滞在がとても快適だったので、また訪れるのを楽しみにしていたのですが、今回はさらにグレードアップした施設にとても感動しました。 特に、リニューアルされたアメニティやロビーの雰囲気がおしゃれで、女性一人でも安心して快適に過ごせる空間になっています。 肌の管理を目的に韓国を訪問しましたが、ホテルの室内環境がとても良くて滞在中に肌の状態がとても安定的でした。 2泊3日の短い滞在でしたが、ホテルの立地も良く、近くにカフェやコスメショップ、エステなどもたくさんあり、美容目的の旅行には本当に最適でした。 職員の方々もとても親切で、日本語ができる職員がいてとても良かったです 今回もすべてに満足し、素敵な思い出とともに帰国しました。 また韓国を訪れる際にはぜひこのホテルを利用したいです。 ありがとうございました！

Расположение оказалось просто идеальным — всего в нескольких минутах ходьбы от станции метро Jongno 3-ga, а также рядом с популярными местами, такими как Инсадон, рынок Кванчжан и ручей Чхонгечхон. Это сделало передвижение по городу очень удобным. Персонал был дружелюбным и отзывчивым от регистрации до выезда, благодаря чему я чувствовал себя желанным гостем и в безопасности на протяжении всего пребывания. Их тёплое отношение действительно сделало пребывание приятным. Номер был уютным и включал всё необходимое для комфортного проживания: мягкую кровать, надёжный Wi-Fi, хорошо работающий кондиционер и плотные шторы, которые позволяли выспаться после насыщенных дней. Я также оценил мелкие приятности, такие как бесплатная бутилированная вода и зарядные порты в номере — это было очень удобно для путешественника, как я. I visited Seoul this time and chose the The Designers hotel in Jungno, and my overall experience was very satisfying! The hotel's location is very convenient, right near the metro station, with easy access to Jingfu Palace, Insadong, and Myeongdong, making transportation incredibly convenient. Although the room isn't particularly large, it exudes a strong sense of design, is clean and tidy, and the bed is also very comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure, and bathing is very comfortable. The room offers coffee, tea, and mineral water, with thoughtful details. The front desk staff are very friendly, knowing both simple Chinese and English, communicating without any issues, and they even proactively helped me check the subway lines. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to go out and eat in the evening. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, has a fashionable design, and is well-located. I would definitely choose it again when I visit Seoul next time! I highly recommend this to friends visiting Korea for the first time.

I fl in from Australia all excited for my Seoul adventure… and immediately got greeted by a monsoon. By the time I dragged myself into The Designers Hotel, I looked less like a traveler and more like a wet mop with luggage. But here’s where the story gets better: the front desk staff (who, by the way, are always there 24/7 like superheroes in suits) upgraded me for free to a room with two beds. Did I need two beds? Absolutely not. Did I love it? Of course. One for me, one for my soggy backpack. We both slept well. Then I discovered the laundry room, and wow. Not the sad, coin-operated kind you see in dodgy hostels, but a sleek, modern setup that made me want to do laundry even when my clothes were already clean. After a few spins in that machine, I smelled less like “rainstorm survivor” and more like “functional human again.” The hotel itself is like a convenience store and a cozy home rolled into one. There’s a parking lot (for the smart people who didn’t arrive on foot in the rain), and a magical little corner that sells snacks, drinks, booze, and ramen. Dangerous combination, because suddenly it’s 2 a.m. and you’re holding a beer in one hand and slurping noodles with the other, wondering how life got so good. Overall, The Designers Hotel might not have chandeliers and butlers, but it has something better: comfort, practicality, and staff who actually seem to care whether you’re having a good time. Solid stay!

The rooms are all unique and quite special. We had a couple of small issues with the bathtub but the staff were very helpful, we were even offered a different room but chose to stay when their other sollutions worked. The hotel is extremely central to both Myeongdong, Jongno Shrine, and many other places. A good place to stay in Seoul. Bed was quite firm but we got used to it.

El personal es muy amable. La habitación super amplia. Limpieza todos los días si asi lo requieres y lo mejor de todo es la ubicación, esta en una zona bastante tranquila como para descansar pero en el centro y muy bien conectada a metro y estaciones de autobús. Caminando a 10 minutos esta myeongdong y el barrio de Eulji-ro con buenos restaurantes y tiendas. Muy recomendable, nuestra estadía fue muy buena

12/31에 10만원 중반대에 중심가에서 숙소를 잡을 수 있었다는 점이 좋았습니다. 숙소 바로 앞에 한방 전기구이 통닭을 파는데 저렴하고 맛있어요. 숙소는 4명이서 앉아서 먹고 수다 떨 수 있는 테이블이 필요했는데 딱 적당했습니다. 전체적으로 깨끗했어요. 다만 중심가라서인지 주차비를 1일 2만원 받는다고 하는데 예약할 땐 안내가 없어서 조금 당황했네요.

대실가능한 호텔인거 알았으면 숙박 안잡았을건데.. 수건에서 너무 냄새났고 얼룩도 너무 많아서 사용하기 힘들었어요 화장실이 유리문으로 되어있을 줄은 몰랐어요.. 침대 옆에 욕조가 있을 줄도 몰랐네요.. 그래서 자는 내내 물냄새가 나서 힘들었어요.. 그냥 난 진짜 잠만잘래. 하시는 분들은 가셔도 좋습니다....

머무르기 너무 좋았던 숙소.

출장차 서울에 갔다가 4박 머물렀는데요. 중간중간 시간날때마다 숙소 밖, 맛집 등 돌아다니기에도 호텔 위치가 좋았어요^ ^ 호텔 방도 깨끗하고 쾌적했구요. 방에 고데가가 있어서_ 사용하기도 너무 좋더라구요👍 데스크에 계셨던 직원분들도 친절하시구요. 1층 로비 옆쪽으로는 스낵바도 있어서, 굳이 바깥 편의점 이용하지 않아도 편하게 구입할수 있어 또한번 좋더라구요. 만족스러운 숙박였습니다. 재예약 의사는 100% 입니다.
