“The cottage is a very comfortable place to stay, and we were sorry when our 4 days there came to a close. Communication with the property owners is probably the best I have ever experienced. The location is quite stunning in terms of its natural setting. The drive to the market in town is not that bad.You'll see plenty of turkeys quail, and elk in the neighborhood, not to mention downey woodpeckers all over the place. And supposedly it can get more exotic than that, though we never personally……

“We were there on Thanksgiving. This was a really cozy place! It’s full of history and atmospheric details. A little bit cold in the bathroom but overall enough heating in other rooms. The house is located somewhere at the height level of 4000 feet, so be prepared to drive uphills about 40-60 minutes. Sequoia National Park is 30 minutes if driving and the way is very winding”

“Charming villa in a beautiful location. Right in a vineyard. The grapevines formed the railings of the decks. Nicely decorated and very clean. Easy communications with the host. It’s at the northern end of Napa Valley, but still close to lots of nice vineyards and restaurants. Favorite vineyards—Château Montelena, Sequoia Grove, and Ledson(Sonoma Valley).”

“We have rented many properties across Europe and the United States, but I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest we've stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable and spacious. The pictures just don't do it justice. Everything we needed was supplied, even hand soap at every sink. And the creek out back! We couldn't get enough of it! Would love to return again some day.”

“Overall the house was in a beautiful condition and well maintained. While some things are a bit dated, it's clear that the owners care about creating an enjoyable and stress free vacation experience and I would definitely stay here again. ”
