“Awesome place”

“Beautiful new hotel. It was clean, comfortable and nice location. My only issue and it wouldn't have been one if a simple fix would've made a ratings difference. After going to the room, everything was nice and clean. The TV didn't seem to work right. Housekeeping was outside the room. She came in to check and couldn't get it to work. She went to another room and the TV worked there, so it was my particular room that didn't work. She told me to call the front desk and she what they can do. I……

“Didn't even stay at the resort. I didn't remember that I had booked a reservation thru an expedia account. The resort texted me the day before checking in and stated to respond to the text with requests. I responded that I didn't recall a reservation there but if there was one to please cancel. Unfortunately I assumed that would be enough. It wasn't. I was charged for the 3 days of the reservation and also 3 days of resort fees even though I never stepped foot on the property. ……

“Breakfast was ok”

“While the room was clean - the hallways smelled terribly of wet dog and there wasn’t any ventilation making everything incredibly musty smelling. We got in late at night and the overnight front desk worker was not welcoming. The lady running the breakfast was the best part - she kept things very tidy and clean and food was good.”

“The front desk clerk when we checked in was very nice. When we needed towels and toilet paper we had to go get it ourselves(they should have brought it to our room). The door to the balcony was very hard to open and got stuck most times. The air conditioning unit top kept coming off. Very unsightly! Kind of run down property. We still continue to go there because it’s right on the beach and not in the room that much at all.”

“The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the manager made a point to greet guests by using names, even after our check-in. I appreciated that touch. The room was clean and equipped. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.”
