The area of #Gion in #Kyoto is the traditional, cultural pulse of #Japan (also home to many #cherryblossoms in the #spring). I took this photo around 8:20 AM in early April when there were few people on the streets (an uncommon scene during peak cherry blossom season in Kyoto.) I noticed that in Japan, folks don't start their day until later (after 8:30 AM), unlike in Europe where if you're not at an attraction prior to 5AM, there are going to be a billion other people in your shot. We took a moment to bask in the peacefulness of the moment. #Lifeatexpedia #Travel #Culture

The hotel is very new and the dinning area of the room is the best part of the stay. Since it is located at a small lane, it is not car friendly, so there is no drop off place at the entrance, and you have to drive your car out of the lane if there is a car approaching.

We have a great honeymoon in the hotel. Thank you for their wedding gift and greetings card, that was so surprise and warm. The staff also upgraded our room to TOMO II, which is a new, cool and stylish hotel, it is convenient to the main street烏丸四条，I will choose TOMO again in my next kyoto trip!
