"We really enjoyed our stay. The facility is older but well maintained, the staff was friendly and the view from our room was amazing. Word of warning for westerners. This hotel is NOT TATTOO FRIENDLY. Mine are all covered when it’s cold so it didn’t matter for this trip, but in the summer I wouldn’t be allowed to use the pool. "

"Location is very good, one train stop from Kamakura and the monorail connects with Enoshima. The hotel has all the facilities we needed with the benefit of lower rates than Kamakura. Ofuna is a true taste of a Japanese suburb with great shops and lost of reasonably priced restaurants "

"I found it a great alternative to stay here rather then in expensive Kamakura, which is only 30 min away for exploring. Staff was great an do was breakfast. "
