“We were first given a cabin that was very close to the road. The traffic noise, especially early in the morning, was quite loud and made it impossible for us to sleep, even with earplugs. The jacuzzi in that cabin also wasn’t heating properly. We mentioned this to the host, who responded quickly and moved us to the other cabin that was set a bit farther from the road. Had the second cabin not been available that day, the issues would’ve been dealbreakers and we’d have gone to a hotel. After……

“I cannot say enough good things about this property and its hosts. We were a group of adult friends going for my birthday and the layout of the house was like we each had our own apartments and space inside the same house. Such a fun unique setup! There was a little sloth sanctuary outside by the kitchen patio for early mornings and private jungle walking trail. So many beautiful birds, flowers, plants and the largest bamboo I’d ever seen all onsite. We were slightly worried before our stay……

“This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient.
