「Great place right in the heart of Oban. 2 minute walk to Oban Distillery. The whisky bar downstairs was really fun and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.」

「Really quaint rooms with a pretty view of the water. The dining room was lovely - and we had a great dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.」

「A bit old and dingy and cramped, but clean. There was no info sheet in the room so difficult to find the WiFi password. Not very private and quiet as it was more like an Inn with a number of other guests in adjacent rooms that one could hear. The owner met me at the door which was a nice touch. Parking was great. Price for a quick one night stop and early morning start was about right.」

「The room was clean. The windows opened to allow fresh air. The hotel car park is somewhat small. The hotel is situated on 2 fairly busy roads, so traffic sounds were audible. The walls were quite thin, so a phone conversation in the next room was also audible. It was fine for a one night stay on the way to our next stop.」

「Great for a quick overnight stop before the early ferry from Oban. There is no on-site staff at the hotel, however they are located at one of the sister hotels nearby. Note that you need an access code to gain entry to the hotel which is sent via email the day before you arrive.」

「The staff at the hotel was really friendly but if you have issues with lifting luggage it may be a problem getting up the stairs . We were not told when the breakfast was over so when we arrived at 950 am it was over and was only given toast and juice and coffee . We really enjoyed the supper as there was only one other place that was open in the village near by pier which was already booked for the night . The stay was really quite in the hotel which was also another plus but the beds were not...

「From the very start this was a lovely stay. A wonderful warm welcome, beautifully presented property in an outstanding location. Spacious comfy rooms with everything catered, including complimentary whisky to settle in and look at the view. Great dinner and wine list. Loved it.」
