Top Smartsville Hotel Reviews

Northern Queen Inn

8/10 Good

"Our room appeared to be an accessible queen bed room. Oddly the bathroom was nearly 40% of the size of the total room, although there was no bidet or soaking tub to use the extra space, just a standard small tub/shower on one side and a short walk across the room was the toilet. The grounds and exterior of the hotel were nicely appointed and well-kept, but the room itself was fairly spartan with a bed, dresser, bedside tables, a large areas of empty space. Would encourage filling rooms with antiques or additional furniture. Nice that they served breakfast, but no apparent vegan options, other than whole fresh fruit."

Hampton Inn & Suites Yuba City

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I'm not sure how recently the rooms have been redone, but they looked pretty new and nice. The "free range chickens" were a fun touch, and we really didn't hear the roosters crowing very much despite the free ear plugs on offer at the front desk. The free breakfast was pretty standard but quite good and the dining area was very clean. The only downside at all was that the entrance to the hotel parking lot is shared with an In-n-Out Burger so there was always a line waiting to get into the parking lot. Otherwise it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Yuba City Marysville by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful location to stay at. Extremely clean staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful. Bed was comfortable. I slept amazing. We attended a concert that evening and Uber there and back with no difficulty. We also DoorDash late night food with no difficulty.. would totally stay again"

Red Lion Inn & Suites Auburn

8/10 Good

"Pros: Property has everything you need for a short stay. The parking lot and location is safe and easy to access. The staff is very nice at check in and check out. There is a continental breakfast included at no extra charge. The rooms are spacious. The bed is very comfortable. There is a fridge, blow-dryer, ironing board, and the shower water is warm and good water pressure. Next to the hotel is conveniently a taco bell and Starbucks. The location is just a short uber ride to downtown. Cons: This is an older property, the rooms could use a little extra cleaning and minor updating but to be expected for its age. Reason for staying: We like to day drink and hop around the shops and downtown/old town and found this is a comfortable hotel to stay and the location is very convenient."

Gold Miners Inn Grass Valley, an Ascend Collection Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice boutique hotel. Very comfortable rooms and the staff at the front desk were very nice. When we got to the hotel a little early, our room wasn't ready. We walked through the convention area and the lady from the front desk tracked us down to let us know the room was now available. Good breakfast in the morning."
