「This was my second time at this cottage and hope to stay again. It rained the whole time! But, with such a cozy place to read and relax, listen to the rain and enjoy the ambiance it was lovely. I walked for a nice dinner at the Hideaway. I walked to Mt Gretna Mercantile for a few treats and always enjoy chatting with the sweet owners. I had an incredible lunch at Porch and Pantry. All without getting in my car. I highly recommend!」

「Our family decided to find a place to stay somewhere in the middle of where we all live, and found this sweet place near Hershey, PA. We were thinking about staying in Lancaster, but found this and changed our plans. 「Went to check out Gettysburg, PA and had a great time. The Stratton House location cannot be beat. Our group was able to walk to everything in the historic district, which made it nice to not have to find parking and get in a few extra steps. The house is perfect, beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a few meals of our own. If you are staying in Gettysburg and looking for a place to stay, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Stratton House!!!」

「My partner and I stayed here for an early Valentine’s Day getaway. The pictures really don’t do the home justice, it is simply gorgeous & modern looking in person. The backyard was super spacious. 「We think Thaddeus Stevens himself would have loved this log house. We certainly did during our 3 day stay. Cozy and well decorated. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Close to downtown and just steps away to a local grocery. The owner, Sarah, is truly exceptional! Helped us in so many ways including making sure our kitchen skillet was returned to us after we accidentally left it in a cupboard. Hats off to Sarah, and a great little getaway!」

「This house was great! Well-appointed, clean and comfortable and really convenient to everything in Lancaster. Parking seemed like it could be tight, but it was fine - always found a spot within a block of the house. The owner was super communicative and flexible and kind. Would definitely stay here again.」

「The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. 「The water park wasn’t open during our stay on May 10-11th but the indoor pool was open. If you don’t have life jackets , buy them before going . There aren’t any available on site to purchase. I tried for days to reach front staff to ask specific questions in relations to my stay but no one ever answered. Once you’re there it’s fun. We won a towel playing power puff girls bingo . We didn’t dine in the restaurant but there were many near by. We also got discount tickets to Dutch Wonderland 」
