「South Lake Chalet is walking distance from Heavenly Ski Lift (and casinos if that's your thing); also to the beach and to hiking. Both times we've stayed here, the fireplace was lit and the room heated, a welcoming touch on a winter's day and after a long drive, The room is clean, has real dishes, glasses and utensils; microwave and sink. Dog friendly. We'll be back and recommend highly.」

「Upon arriving, we were able to check-in almost two hours earlier. Valet parked our car and stored our luggage so we didn’t have to go back and request for our car. Everything you need is close by and walkable. The room was clean, quiet. Even with the balcony facing the pool, it was not noisy. My husband and I didn’t really stay in the room for too long as we spent most of the day outside, but it’s nice to get to the room and just rest.
