「This house is almost too good to be real, but it is. The pictures are not AI, this place actually looks like that! Our group stayed here for six nights and we could not have asked for a better experience. Each couple had their own suite and bathroom, which was perfect. The bedding was on point, the water pressure was great, and the ability to do laundry was a nice bonus. The views are stunning! 「This was our first trip to Iceland, and our stay at Smalaskali was perfect! Location was great - far enough away to feel secluded, but close to Selfoss for shopping and dining, and close enough to make for a great base camp for excursions to the Golden Circle, Reykjavik, and a South Coast exploring drive. Cottage was well equipped, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.Laundry facilities were welcomed - note that it is a washer and not a washer/dryer combo, but...

「This home was absolutely perfect! We all loved the decor as well as the location of the property. It has a beautiful view of the surrounding river and tree lines. Very close to so many beautiful locations as well as shopping and wonderful restaurants. We were very happy with this home and the hosts. They are very responsive and answer messages quickly. If I am ever back in Iceland, I would not hesitate to book this fantastic home. 」

「The place was clean and in a good location for seeing some popular destinations. It has a beautiful ocean view from the top level. A few things we didn’t like were no microwave paired with a very small kitchen/oven. The stairs to get to the main seating level, kitchen and one bedroom were awful. Steep and not a traditional staircase. You had to step wide to have footing. If you’re not in shape or good health this could be an issue.」
