「Amazing location, especially for the price. Clean, cozy, and a short walk to the river. Highly recommend and will hopefully be able to book again in future.」

「Mr. Landon was very accommodating to our travel needs and this home was beautifully decorated and stocked with all of our daily needs. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for the quiet life!」

「We loved the cottage. It's on beautiful property. Made us feel at home. Kitchen well supplied. Because I'm in my 70's, I had a hard time figuring out where to enter the access code. My kids would have had no problems. There were a number of things near the door and it took me a while to figure it out. That's probably on me, but you could mention where to enter the code.」

「Very clean, great bathroom, and location near everything.」

「We came to Hudson Haven for our final summer send-off before school starts back up. We loved the home and the location. Extremely clean and the host was excellent with prompt responses to any questions I had. Highly recommend!!」

「Nice & to quaint home to get away from it all. Truly a hidden gem!」

「Very impressive updates to this property. Everything was immaculate. Everything is well thought out for a family or just a couple. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Thoughtfully designed to sit out and enjoy nature. This is definitely a place we would come back to again」

「Great communication and checking to ensure all was well.」

「We stayed at Boogie church for a long weekend art retreat. It's a fun, one-of-a-kind property filled with history and humor. There is a lot of space / huge rooms. We enjoyed eating in the dining room each evening. The beds are comfortable and it's nice to have an ac/heat unit in each bedroom. Danville is a pretty, quiet city. We walked to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Jeremy was very responsive and check in and check out was easy. This is a funky place but that's why it's special!」

「Different size beds」

「Beautiful home and terrific location!」

「The house is nicely redone inside. Nice new appliances and everything worked just fine. There is a bit of a grease ant problem. Kitchen was not stocked. Only thing there was a disposable salt and pepper shaker. No spices, no condiments. There was one small box of sandwich bags but no other things like tinfoil or plastic wrap. No napkins. Just a roll of paper towels. My thought is that kind of thing should be disclosed in the listing. My main concern is the hood-like neighborhood. People speeding...

「Wonderful property! Convenient location. Spacious for our family of 6. Layout is nice everybody has their own space. The beds are comfortable and outdoor space is great with deck and hot tub. Decor is cute and makes you feel at home. Kitchen well equipped. Only negative is in summer the master bedroom is super hot —about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house—which could be easily fixed with a window unit and ceiling fan. Batteries were dead in one of the remotes. Owner was very responsive...

「Lovely stay for a quick overnight trip to the races! Views from the front porch are beautiful.」

「This was a great house to stay in for a quick trip to Martinsville-- Plenty of space and a great kitchen for cooking. There were three bedrooms (all with double or larger beds) and one bathroom. Easy to check in and great set up. Thanks!」

「Everything was fantastic 」

「Very clean place and quiet! I would definitely stay again.」

「Beautiful property in quiet, charming town with wonderful, thoughtful hosts. We were greeting by a delicious gift basket. The hosts thought of everything and were very responsive to our needs. House was immaculate and had plenty of storage space in kitchen, closets, and bedrooms. Nicely decorated. Toys, games, and tv for entertainment. Just over an hour drive from Virginia Beach, it was peaceful and convenient. Shopping in Franklin for necessities or quick hop to Suffolk for larger stores....
