「Great find!! Amazing views, house was superb!」

「Great place, clean and comfortable with great communication and special touches by the host.」

「This vacation home was spacious for our family of 5. The in-ground pool was awesome and kept the adults and our 8 yo grandson entertained for hours. The adults also really enjoyed the hot tub. The covered deck overlooking the large backyard was wonderful, and we got to see birds, fireflies, and even a fox that trotted by one night! John the owner was quickly responsive to all my questions. Extra bed pillows and bath towels were found in the 2nd bathroom closet, and the pool towels were...

「Vintage vibes complete with the smell of grandma’s home. Beds were uncomfortable. Furniture was vintage and not in great shape. Hall bath had moldy caulking around the tub. Spiders and small bugs coming out of the drains.」

「Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

「Our host was remarkably responsive and helpful. We had a lot of room with three full bedrooms with queen size beds, and a cleverly laid out kitchen and cozy living room. We were so glad to have two parking places, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to Wesleyan University.」

「We had a dinner for a grooms dinner and found this to be the perfect spot! The kitchen was well stocked and wonderful to cook in. Our guests were very impressed. It was immaculate and their is a Whole Foods just a block and a half away or a costco a short drive away. We loved cooking on the grill on the deck and the guys enjoyed having the gas fireplace and couches there as well! Lovely place!」

「Great location and well equipped. We will be back」

「We loved the place, which feels like your own house in the woods. The setting is gorgeous especially with the leaves changing colors. We specifically chose the location so we could bike the Farmington Trail loop which starts at the bottom of the hill. The house is so well stocked with everything you could think of, especially coffee and there is plenty of space to relax inside and out. The host was very attentive to our needs. It couldn’t have been better for us.」

「Clean and worked well for what we needed. Comfortable beds」

「Beautiful, well maintained, lovely New England home with a fully updated kitchen, 2 minute walk to Blue Back square in the heart of west Hartford. Perfectly clean, well equipped with many little extra touches. Mark was a perfect host, always available and responsive to us the entire trip. Highly recommend! Seamless stay」
