“Clean room, great staff, nice bar”

“I really like the room structure and the sea view with large floor-to-ceiling windows, but the cleanliness of the items in the room is not enough, the equipment is old, everything else is okay.”

“Spent a few days at the Queen Victoria. The staff was very friendly. The location was very good as well. The Victorian detail was very nice throughout. We were not very happy with the room because it was extremely small - the bathroom sink was literally at the foot of the bed. Perhaps that was the room I picked, but I did not realize how tiny it was. The room was on the third floor. It was not a pleasant walk up those flights of stairs as they were very long and steep. “Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Canal side Inn. So did my furry companion Frankie, who was well greeted by the owners and other pets alike. Guests were equally friendly, those with 2 feet. The room was lovely for a single traveler and dog. It was especially nice being in a residential neighborhood with the canal right outside the doorstep, lovely scenery, easy walking distance to Rehoboth Beach Perfect four-day vacation to clear the mind with easy access to all that you would want in……

“Be aware of all the fees!! There is $30 property fee + $25 parking fee! What the heck? Last week, I stayed at a hotel in NYC and it was $25 parking fee. There is also a humid smell in the room. I was going to give a one-star rating. Now I am giving them 3. The extra 2 stars are earned by the breakfast staff. They were quick to restock the food and clean the tables. They were attentive to guests’ needs. Great work shouldn’t go unnoticed. Kudos to them. Next time I will stay at rehoboth beach area……

“Everyone on staff was delightful - happy and helpful. Always working. The property is very clean, with the exception of an overfilled dumpster from remodeling. Nice hanging hammock chairs right near the bay, some Adirondack chairs (could have used a few more). Close to many options for dining and not too far from the beach. Parking is quite expensive in the area. There's a fridge, coffee maker, a microwave and 2 burner stove. 4 plates, 3 bowls, 1 spoon, no forks, no pans. Small things. ……

“I have never seen a harder worker than Norma. She is a hustler who does her job and then some, both polite and courteous. She has to be the best employee. I have ambivalent feelings about check in. Our room was nice. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. We only ate once in the breakfast room. Check out was easy.”
