“This was our first visit to this hotel and sadly it probably will be our last. We loved the price due to the fact we were staying for 2 weeks for the holiday visit with our family. The room was ok. “The "innkeeper" John could not have been more accommodating or helpful during my brief stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I enjoyed my stay so much I would go back to Schenectady just to stay there again. I can't wait until the restaurant downstairs opens- it is such a cozy and welcoming place. The coffee shop in the lobby is bright and warm (and the coffee and cheese scones are excellent!) This is the opposite of staying in a chain……

“I was in town with friends for UAlbany homecoming. I loved that there one and two bedroom apartment-style rooms, with fully equipped kitchens (stove, oven, and fridge). The rooms were spacious to include the bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only issue was my room was serviced by housekeeping when it was supposed to; however, once I contacted the front desk, they sent up fresh linens.”
