「We had a great stay at Castles in Paradise. We stayed in Villa 7 which has its own private pool with a beautiful covered, shady patio as well as 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There is a beautiful view of Savannes Bay from the villa. Bonnie, Giselle and Avril made us feel welcome and provided advice about things to see and do on the island. 「We had one day to stay at this location so given the pics, we felt this was a good fit. It is a 1/2 hour from the airport but that's about the best thing. When we got there, the place was empty and that was fine. We were past prime season, but the 6 cats and the smell of cat urine was too much. The views were great from the bar and patio, the rooms very average with one that reeked of cat pee. We took our losses and left. We did not stay overnight as it was just too smelly. The one beer...

「Our stay overall was great! The sargassum issue on the beach was a downfall especially due to the smell that happened some days but the free shuttle to Laborie Beach was a great option and made up for that. That was nice that the resort offered that to make up for the beach on the resort not being usable. Food was amazing! The addition of the Cococafe was a plus. The only downfall was we were assigned an ocean view room and it was one of the outdated and not renovated like most of the rooms...

「Ladera Resort was even better than we imagined. Our suite was incredible-the best view & amenities. The entire resort staff was extremely kind and helpful (special shout outs to Vianney, Felix & Ariella). Highly recommend booking a meal package because all the food is incredible. We were so happy to stay active utilizing the outdoor gym, fitness center & hiking trails with incredible views. Highly recommend Ladera for your honeymoon or any special occasion!」
