「The apartment was truly amazing, from the minute you enter the main door, there is a wonderful fragrance. Upon entering the apartment, the deco was ver tasteful and the technology with electric blinds and a mirrored tv were amazing. Its very specious and very clean.The best place I've stayed in.The location is walking distance to everything in Kirkby Lonsdale. The owner went above and beyond, checking we were happy with everything. 」

「Just enjoyed an excellent 2 night stay at The Royal. Booked on recommendations from friends. Set right in the middle of KL, so fantastic location. No carpark, but we had no trouble parking as the general car parks to the front and rear of the hotel and ampld places to park overnight around the hotel. We did have to be mindful of moving the car throughout the day, due to timecrestrictions on car parks and our visit was off peak in January. Not sure how easy parking would be throughout the rest of...

「Such a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, too. And our twin room was very comfortable - very comfy beds and excellent shower en-suite. Very nice touches in lots of ways. We ate dinner both nights and were very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the meals. We really hope we will have another visit! 」

「This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. 「I stayed at the Tavern for one night Monday 6/10/25 prior to attending a funeral. I had read previous reviews criticising road noise. Whilst it was heard,I didn’t find it an issue at all. Had a good nights sleep in a comfy bed. Superb bathroom- i loved the large soaker tub- hard to find a room with bath these days. Staff were very friendly and food was hot and tasty with portions on the large side! Would definitely stay here again.」
