「Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. 」

「All very good except for Saturday night when there was live entertainment below us, not informed of this. Staff offered another room but didn’t want to change as it was late and we were tired. Breakfast served by a lovely lady so friendly. Room very good. Staff great . Thank you 」

「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,...

「We had a very comfortable night's stay. The temperature of the room was perfect all night and the room and bathroom were very clean. The continental buffet breakfast was very good and the staff were very pleasant and attentive to my needs. We would willingly stay here again.」

「The hotel was a bit dated but immaculately clean. I had a warm double bed, wall mounted TV, en suite shower room that looked new. Tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was the best I’d ever had, including at 5* hotels. Freshly cooked for each person. Everything supplied for a full English including fresh juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, cereal. I really loved my stay」

「Everything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!」
