“This was my 3rd visit to the Hollander Hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful. The only complaints I have is that I wish the bathrooms had more counterspace to put things and the water pressure is very low. This probably has to do with the fact that the hotel is quite old, but upgrading the plumbing would really help improve the hotel experience for the guests. Overall, though, the hotel is fun, wildly decorated with hundreds of pictures, and a lot of photos of old St. Pete. ……

“Great hotel, even better staff. We had a small hiccup in the beginning when I checked in. I paid in full when I booked, when I was paying a refundable fee of $100 the computer accidentally charged me $679 (which was the total of 2 nights that I paid already) Bethany who is the manager took the matter in her hands and called my bank to void it asap and within 30 minutes of that incident I had my money back in my account. “The hotel was beautiful in certain aspects, but it could be maintained better. The original tile in the main area was a nice touch. The bed linens felt cheap and the AC wasn't very cold in our room. They allow pets so at times I felt like I was in a petting zoo. Overall, probably not worth the high rates they charge.”

“No front desk, I was helped by a guest that was waiting there, he looked into the PC , asked for my name and grabbed an envelope with the keys, is this you? It was my room keys, no deposit, no card on file and a total stranger accessing everybody’s personal info. Walk several blocks to park in a building. Party hub spot at night, if you have kids beware. Beautiful area during the day.”

“This Hilton offers what you’d expect-comfortable beds, attractive pool, and professional staff. I would have appreciated knowing up front that the hotel charges $45 a day for Valet parking. You cannot park on the property unless you agree to the valet service. Hilton assured me that the valet company is not associated with them. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the valet company. In addition, I had numerous issues with my room (air conditioning, plumbing). A Hilton representative……

“As soon as you pull up you see trash all around the building. The pool is nasty with a ring around it. You see people sitting outside the rooms smoking. Very tacky. I would not trust to leave my car parked outside. Oh the office was no office. It was a tink desk in a room filled with junk. Literally couldn’t walk in. It was clothes and other junk literally filled the office.The pictures online had to be when it 1st opened. Don’t stay here. Oh and you won’t get your money back. And Expedia was no……
