「Having just returned from a five star hotel in Italy St Leonard’s was every bit as good. Never having stayed in a b and b this was excellent. Well done !!」

「This is a little gem! Convenient to all of our excursions . The bed was heaven! Great pillows! A fan was provided. Bathrooms were clean with good smelling products. I like that our room had a separate toilet room from shower room. There were plenty of places to store luggage, clothes, etc. They provide earplugs in case it gets too loud downstairs, but we didn’t really need them. 「Nicola and Gerry were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and offered good local knowledge. There was excellent variety available for breakfast and ingredients were fresh - the eggs were laid by hens kept at the property!」

「The guest house was excellent except others using it were not. Signs are needed to close doors quietly as front door bangs very loudly. Those leaving also banged their doors. Arguments in hall in middle of night was awful. I understand this is not owners fault but signage asking to be respectful of others may help. We were wakened at 2am till 4am with the noise. No concern over room which was great.」

「Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others」

「we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...
