Inspired by the rich, lively culture of Ybor City and the cigar factories it was founded on, "Romeo y Julieta" boasts vibrant, luxurious decor that encompasses the town's Cuban heritage. These 2, second-story studios each have their own private entrance and can sleep up to 8 adults total.
The Space:
"Romeo y Julieta" are two newly constructed condos that offer brand new furnishings and top-of-the-line fixtures. These second floor studios are perched atop a new bustling coffee shop and sit next door to a brand new dog park on E 4th Ave, just 3 short blocks from the main strip of Ybor City.
You will absolutely love the Cuban-themed decor and the intricate details throughout both studios. Take full advantage of the fully stocked kitchens which offer stainless steel appliances, timeless Smeg refrigerators, Keurigs and a complimentary starter kit of coffee supplies.
Relax on the plush sofas and catch up on your favorite shows with the large flat screen Smart TV. Each sofa pulls out into a Queen sized bed, which sleep up to 2 adults comfortably. Count your Z's on the incredibly comfortable Queen bed that is equipped with a hybrid memory foam mattress.
Enjoy Pete's Coffee and Bagel shop located right underneath you on the first floor to get your mornings started off right.
Bring your furry friends and use the brand new dog park located on site as well.
Rome y Julieta has everything you need during your stay in Tampa Bay including free high speed WiFI, private washer and dryer, laundry pods, toiletries, and fresh hotel-style linens!

The Neighborhood:
Founded in the 1880s, the Historic Ybor City district is well known for its eclectic collection of culture and countless cigar factories in which the city was named, for Don Vincent Martinez Ybor. Take a stroll down the original red brick streets and step into a piece of history. Indulge in a comedy show at The Improv, dine at the historic Columbia Restaurant or explore the local shops, bars, and artisans that make the Ybor community so rich!
Getting Around:
Ybor City is notorious for the street trolley system- it's free, runs every 15 minutes and has many stops throughout Ybor, Downtown Tampa and Channelside! Ybor City is a very walkable neighborhood however, there are also self-service bicycles and electric scooters available for rent in the area via any of the scooter rental apps. (Bird, Uber, Lime, etc.) If you are planning on exploring the Greater Tampa Bay Area, there are many car rental storefronts at the airport and in the surrounding area! Tampa and Ybor City have a plethora of street parking, garage parking and pay by app parking.
Other Things to Note:
- PETS: We are pet-friendly and allow up to two pets. Our pet fee is $15/night, charged after the reservation is booked. We expect all owners to pick up after their pets and supply their own waste bags. Any damages caused by your animal will result in additional fees. You must notify us if you are bringing an animal!
- Smoking: Smoking of any substance is strictly prohibited inside the unit and anywhere on the property. There will be a $500 fee charged to guests who do not obey this rule
--The property sits next door to a dog park and above a coffee shop, so there is a potential for residual noise in this busy area. Shop hours operate from 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM daily.
- Parking: there is a lot across the street that guests will be able to park at. 2 vehicles maximum. Parking passes will be left inside the units for guests
- Private washer/dryer.
