Herrliche Aussicht

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Aprilwoche in Taormina verbracht. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, komfortabel und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Lage in einem Wohngebiet oberhalb der Altstadt ist sehr ruhig. Selbst am Markttag hört man kaum etwas. Die Aussicht ringsherum ist wunderschön und das Frühstück auf der Terrasse einfach nur herrlich. Das Auto hatten wir im Parkhaus Porta Catania abgestellt und nur benutzt, um größere Ausflüge zu machen. In Taormina ist es zu Fuss viel spannender. Die wichtigsten Lebensmittel bekommt man direkt ggü in einem kleinen Laden, alles weitere 5 Min Fussweg nach unten Richtung Altstadt. Dort finden sich auch viele sehr schöne Restaurants, Eisdielen, Gassen, Treppen, Kirchen, das Theater ... Die Menschen waren alle sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Genauso Roberto, unser Ansprechpartner für die Wohnung - immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Man man sollte aber berücksichtigen, dass die Stadt große Höhenunterschiede hat und man daher viele Treppen kraxelt (was uns nach dem vielen guten Essen nur willkommen war) und am Ende die Wohnung im 5. OG ebenfalls nur über Treppen erreicht.
