It was quiet on a Wednesday evening but imagine with the DJ would be great at weekends. Loved the 80s and 90s tunes! Feels quite luxurious but not snooty like some of the other hotels in this town. "This past visit July 2025 will mark our third consecutive summer stay at this gem of a hotel. We continue to enjoy the spacious accommodations and friendly staff. Like a sightly faded beauty, this 50 something year old hotel certainly can use an update , and we have been advised that is in progress. However you cannot beat the spaciousness and slightly faded grandeur of this beautiful property. The hotel is situated on what I believe to be one the ‘most’ gorgeous and picturesque of the entire Taormina area. The private grotto beach and pool areas are spectacular as is the view of Mount Etna from the buffet breakfast terrace. "

"The most important from this property is the staff. Mr. Mario was always on top of everything, he is very professional on his duty. Super educated person and very kindly with my kids. His son was super friendly when we arrived late night too and super generous to help with the bags. The last on recepción very kind too and helpful to find me a spot to park calling from her cellphone. The staff for breakfast Ms Sylvia very kind and professional on her job, super friendly and attentive. Mateo also aware of everything. Very pleasant our stay here feels like home. 🏠 "
