「We booked the Barbican House as we had tickets to see Paul Weller at the Barbican. From the minute we arrived they were so helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We hadn't booked breakfast but decided to order as we arrived, the cost was £15 each per night, it was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and then a full English with gorgeous bacon and sausages. 「Nice house, rooms are clean, parking is easy, suitable for business travelers with a limited budget. The only problem is the front door lock is not working as it should, and since there's no reception, if you make three incorrect entries, you have to wait outside for 5 minutes before you can try again. If the weather is cold and you've come from a long journey, it tests your patience at the door. Apart from that, it's a comfortable house, I would recommend it if they fix the entrance lock."」

「The location is unbeatable but amenities were sparse - like towels - and it felt like the decor was more important than the comfort factor. The bed was uncomfortable, there were no pegs to hang up your 2 towels, and there was no air flow. Just a fan. It felt like more of an AirBnb than a hotel. If you’re looking for a place where there’s someone to greet you and help you with extra needs and/or recommendations- this is not the place to be. 」
