"Ageing property but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We chose a triple room. It was very small but the price was reasonable. Walking distance to the train station so it was convenient although we only realised we had been walking a long way around towards the end of our stay."

The second room had excellent beds, aircon and space. The staff service was impeccable, particularly Miss Watanabe as she helped us with many things like booking restaurants and finding a good Onsen. "We decided to walk to the hotel from Niigata Station, not realizing it was about to rain. It was a downpour by the time we got to the lobby, but one of the staff saw us coming and met us with dry towels at the door! It was so thoughtful! And that was just the start of great service. We loved our stay and will definitely come again!"
"Good hotel room for the price. The lobby is on the 4th floor so it was a little difficult to find at first. I was able to check my luggage before the check-in time. The breakfast was quite crowded but they let us take the food up to our rooms so it was fine. It was a decent sized room right next to the station. There are lots of food options nearby as well."
