「I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.」

「My tv did not work either night I was there. I reported it the morning following my first night and they said they would fix it. Still didn’t work the second night. Also the building I was in was 20-30 feet from a road. I was not aware of this when I booked. If I ever book again I will specify the location of the room as well as verify that the tv works. The Tremont is centrally located to everything you would want to do. The staff was very friendly and tried to help with my issues.」

「Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.」

「Every room was dirty, pool was unusable, breakfast was simple not many choices and cards for rooms stopped working many times!! It was very unfortunate as it was in such a great location. I spent one full hour cleaning the room. And spent an extra $30 on cleaning supplies. Rugs seem to have never been cleaning and the place is completely outdated with a musty smell.」

「The room was clean and check in instructions were easy to follow. Breakfast was delicious each day. Parking was fine but sometimes not enough space to park at the end of the day. Not too much they can do about that. The only thing that was lacking was not enough utensils/plates/bowls etc in the room. The view was amazing and the property provided a great deal of privacy. I would definitely recommmend this location and stay here again.」

「This is an historical property - very good location with parking. If you come later in the day, the parking is down a hill from the entrance. Room is dated, bathroom is small, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is fine. Room was clean.」
