“I absolutely loved my stay at Sanford House. I went for the Spain Portugal World Cup game at the Dallas Stadium, and I’m so glad I found this gem. The hotel is only 15 min walk to the stadium, which save time and money on transportation. And the hotel has a lovely free shuttle to and from the stadium if you don’t want to walk. “This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Every single employee we talked with was super nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and we were provided the basics (shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer) but also a little corner of munchies and beverages, super cool! “They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor. “This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. It includes a free, great breakfast at a sister property a few doors down where the food is made fresh for your order. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff……
