Absolutely vile property. The elevators smell so much like cigarettes I can't breathe, if you touch the wall now you smell like that too. I would pay double to stay in a hostel.

Very friendly staff. The room had everything i needed. You can pick up free stuff like shavers, toothbrushes etc which i find rare in europe. Train stn is a 2 min walk and a 15 ride on the metro to tokyo central. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Near the hotels are loads of restraurants and convenienice stores.

Very convenient for Shin Koiwa station. Rooms are clean and cosy but not overly large. That said, the beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. Everything you need for dining or shopping is within easy walking of the hotel. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Stained mattress and mattress cover. Bathroom was not fully cleaned and had dirt stains in shower room and wall, and smelled like wet towels. Ceiling vent was caked with dirt. For what I paid, the cleanliness of my room was not acceptable.

Only 5-6 stops to Tokyo station
Just a few steps from Shinkoiwa train station. There is a non-stop train from/to Narita Airport at this station. Akihabara and Tokyo stations are just 5-6 stops away. Surrounding by restaurants, shopping malls, drugstores, convenience stores, etc. I walked to the nearby river taking the Skytree pictures.

Great location, only 3-5 minutes walk to the train station. Room temperature was too warm for me, AC is not able to control the room temperature.

Despite the cigarette smells when you first walk in, the hotel did a great job of maintaining the rooms to the guests’ comfort and helped to make sure that we understood all of the information we needed.

It was late check in but the staff was very friendly and didn’t charge us for the extra fees which I appreciate it. They have enough amenities including your night sleep shirt too! I was impressed to have those with this price. The room was a bit small for two of us but it should be perfect for solo traveler!

Hotel shows signs of wear. Even the upgraded room was smaller than normal. Outside window was frosted so you couldn't see outside. Breakfast was very good at the neighboring restaurant.

Quite an old but very clean property in a neighbourhood area. Many things to eat around the circumference. Short walk to JR Shinkoiwa station too.

A really nice pleasant stay
It is close to metro station (a big plus), close to a plaza and grocery stores, and easy to find. There are only three minus things. First, I smelled smoke on the 8th floor hallway all the time. Second, the laundry room doesn’t have vent for dryer machines, it is a safety hazard. Third, the ventilation fan in the bathroom doesn’t work for me, so I had to open the window for fresh air in. But overall everything is good, I would definitely come back and book this hotel in the future.

Fair price for a no frills room. Sometimes that's all you need and you don't have to pay for extras that you don't need/use. Steps away from the Sobu Line, convenient to central Tokyo and NRT. Great staff.

Great location, close to the station. Really good place to stay for the price. Not too far from tokyo’s Main tourist areas too. Certain timings would bring you direct from the station to Narita airport.

Good hotel, close to a useful station
The hotel is just over a minutes' walk from the nearest station, allowing access to train lines providing routes to major points of interest such as Tokyo Central and Akihabara quickly and cheaply. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although I did not make use of it, the lobby contains a wide selection of manga to read if desired.
