“No onsite parking as you have to park in the 4 level parade behind the Premier inn . The lift doesn’t work to get to street level . I have mobility issues and the 8 flights of stairs ? Had to walk down the ramp with suitcase in tow hoping you don’t slip or get stuck by a car . Asked the girl at reception, she’s like , well some times it works and sometimes it doesn’t! Big help . Complained the following day-and still not working asked the guy at reception to call the city council and complain.……

“Booked the Signature room. Cannot fault it. Very large modern bathroom. All food is excellent and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Spa/pool is smaller than expected. Will definitely return.”

“Stayed in the Deluxe double with pool view. Lovely room with adjoining lounge. Water pressure in shower was a little low but fine. Breakfast very good with good choice. Used the pool which was very relaxing and the lighting in the pool/garden was beautiful at night. Had a lovely stay and can thoroughly recommend it.”

“Julie and Gary were absolutely lovely and super helpful. They helped heat up milk for our little one and were friendly the hole time. I would say I think personally found the mattresses slightly uncomfortable, may be a preference. The only true negative, so the reason it was not 5 stars for us was the shower was weak, so couldn't just stand underneath it, had to hold it over the body part to clean. Aside that, amazing place, lovely people! Thank you both.”

“Great location, but some room for improvement Great location, just a stone’s throw from the main beach in Torquay. The flat had all the amenities we needed for cooking, which was a plus. Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. The dining table only seats two people, despite the flat accommodating four. This meant our children had to sit at the table while we ate standing at the kitchen counter. Although the toilet looked clean, there was a noticeable smell of urine. The……

“Room was ok arms of chairs worn away, bed was hard but fairly comfortable the furniture what the TV was sitting on was broken inside apart from that was acceptable as I stayed one night that was enough evening meal was good and breakfast was excellent surprisingly lots of choice so in all QA bit rough around the edges but ok”

“The Berberry is a great place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from the station or the seafront, and offers a very comfortable bed with a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!!!
