Great house

Great house with pools and parking. This is a gated development with security and CCTV. The villa is practically new and phenomenally equipped, there is even a blender. Dish sets are made of many pieces, unlike other homes for rent, where there are only a few platesglasses. The neighborhood is continuously expanded , but it doesn't prevent you from enjoying the serenity of this retreat. The price includes access to a well-equipped gym. There is also a restaurant, and the nearest market is within 4-5 minutes, the beach is 10 minutes away. Shopping malls 15 minutes. Thank you to hosts :)

The pool was extremely small (more of a plunge pool) and definitely not big enough for a villa for 6 guests. The cleanliness of the property was below the standard I’d expect (loo brushes filthy, showers need a deep clean). On day of arrival we found that the patio door to the solarium was broken and wouldn’t lock (upon raising to host she had locksmith come out but only when I insisted that I wasn’t prepared to leave the villa unlocked whilst our belongings were there - laptops, phones, jewellery etc). This should have been noted - and fixed in advance by the host or cleaners. The open plan fencing meant the neighbours and construction workers have full visibility of you when sunbathing in the garden. Similarly, no blinds or curtains on any windows - and no shutters on any downstairs lounge windows - bizarre! So no privacy when in in the villa unless you put the shutters down in the bedrooms! The gate from the street to the garden was unlocked and we didn’t have a key for it. On arriving at the villa we were met with the most putrid smell of sewage - the host blamed it on the weather and suggested we run water on the solarium to rid the smell. That didn’t work, we raised it again but didn’t hear back from host. It totally ruined our holiday. There was no first aid kit - we had a small accident & couldn’t find a plaster. Basic things were missing; no bin bags or cleaning cloths - we had to shop for basic stuff immediately on arrival. Extremely disappointing.
