“Very convenient location (to walk around Oban, and to grocery stores), beds were quite comfy, check-in was very easy, and host was very responsive. Lovely spot, would definitely stay again. Only complaint is that it was a little untidy (crumbs in the kitchen, some surfaces dusty).”

“The apartment was in an amazing location, and the view from the living room was the perfect backdrop as we experienced a summer storm roll through during our stay. Make sure to pack light, as there are quite a few floors without a lift, and if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. However, it was great for us and the apartment is kitted out with everything you might need, including great beds, and was wonderfully clean. There was an issue we ran into, and the communication……

“We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended.”

“Beautiful cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and the stream behind and private garden was a treat. The facilities as always are wonderful and I hope that the shower of herring is open fully next year.”

Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great.
