“Lake View Motel is a real gem. We stayed in a room with a patio that faced the lake. The room was a nice size with a nice table for two, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was very clean, the staff friendly, and the motel is just 4 - 5 miles from downtown Cooperstown.”

“Hotel reminded us of traveling in Europe. Old but interesting building. Rooms were small but clean. We could hear people in the hallway but guests were quiet and we slept well. We ate in the restaurant on site which had decent food. Property overlooks a lake and we spent some time outside during sunset. Sabina was very friendly and informative. We would stay here again.”

“Great place for a night or two.”

“Being called the Baseball Hotel would make one think there would be something related to baseball on the premiiiNothing. The outside was a mess incuding the cheap sign they tacked up outside. Not a sioulsis roun”

“It was a very nice place until 5 am when someone was smoking Pot outside our room and it came into the heating/AC vent and stunk up our room.”

“The staff was friendly. The room was large and clean.”

“good”

“Ok”

“Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet. As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway.”

“Very unique setting, clean and spacious room with friendly staff. Will be back again!”

“Property was very clean and amenities were nice like the mini frig and the micro wave party was spacious ..lake view was nice also”

“Management was very helpful. Our car broke down and the staff kept the car in their lot for a few days while we dealt with tow services and insurance.”

“Austin was an amazing host with great dining recommendations in the area, including Cooperstown and the surrounding smaller towns, which were surprisingly good. Breakfast included lots of cereal, fruit, yogurt and other cold options, but the highlight was Austin's awesome waffles, his specialty. His real specialty is his getting to know guest's names, home towns, etc. and his friendly manner that encouraged lots of conversation at breakfast. The rooms met my wife's high standard for……

“great location in a fascinating river town.”

“This bed and breakfast is one of the cleanest, most charming and comfortable places my husband and I have ever stayed in! The host Mike is amazing! He called us the morning of to take our breakfast order and to walk is through the check-in process (which is very easy) and even gave us recommendations for dinner. Definitely try PK’s pub if you like a good home cooked meal. We would hands down recommend this to everyone and would love to stay here again!”

“The hosts were extremely congenial. The property is gorgeous and the breakfast was ample. Highly recommend!!!”

“All questions in review 5 Star. Host made sure all needs were taken care of. Super easy check in and check out. Even provided EV charging cable from the Motor Home area. Very relaxing.”

“One of the best trips my family has ever taken! The caboose is charming with amazing views and plenty of furry company. The house was clean and the yard/fire pit area was spectacular. The only negative is the water smells a bit funky, but that should not be a deterrent because this trip is so special. Do not miss out, book the caboose!!”
