“Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The homes were clean and stocked with what you need. Beds were relaxing. Sleeping upstairs is……

“The location is amazing! It has a panoramic view of the lake and the sound of the waves crashing is so relaxing. The beach area is nice and somewhat isolated. It’s an older home but has everything you need for nice stay. My only concern is the bathtub: I would caution anyone with stability issues against using it. The beds were rather comfortable, which in a rental is always a nice surprise. The TV options were great, my adult boys were happy with the variety of channels. If you’re looking to……

“Scammed out of hard earned money. The clerk claimed to not have my reservation even though everything was confirmed and she tried to double to cost. I rejected the offer. Still haven’t received a refund for the reservation they supposedly didn’t receive. Seems pretty fishy to me.”

“Bugs in the rooms. Holes punched in the bathroom door. Dirty linens and a seriously strong cigarette odor. Also the fridge was iced over and non functional.”

“This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used……
