“This place was perfect. Very spacious, clean, beautiful backyard, and all the toiletries and kitchen supplies you could need. Definitely recommend for a big group. Host was super nice and communicative without being overbearing at all.”

The rooms were very large and able to accommodate my family perfectly. Also, having a home that allows my furry family member is always a plus! Nora was incredibly responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with us!”

“The carriage house is exactly what I needed for a short day. There were some slight issues checking in, but the host got them resolved pretty quickly. The house is very clean and comfortable. I know previous reviews mentioned heating issues, but that wasn’t a concern because there were heaters in every room. The location was perfect for what I needed and had beautiful views. Overall, I’m really happy with where I chose.”

“Much needed family retreat! We lost our daughter-in-law last year, so we postponed our family vacation until this year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a great time of healing and renewal. The house is charming, but a little drafty. Plenty of rooms for our large family. We had a bit of trouble getting in on the first day (not the fault of the host), but Vasili was very responsive and we figured out the problem. Beautiful location!”

“Nice location, very picturesque, hosts are fantastic.. Future travelers should be prepared to either bring more kitchen, or eat out more.. Posts provide bottled water as the well water is on the slightly sulfury side.. which isn't really a deal-breaker...”

“When we arrived the Septic Tank alarm was going off. We called, the property manager came right away, and contacted the owner. Employees from a Septic Company came within a few hours and verified it was an alarm malfunction, and that there was nothing wrong with the tank or the pump. They fixed the alarm the next day. There was little disruption to our stay.We appreciated the response of the owner and the property manager.”

“Beautiful spacious home allowing for individual privacy as well as space for our large group to eat dinner together and socialize. Property was clean and well maintained. Information was lacking regarding use of the security system, availability of pool and kitchen towels, availability of small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, blender...). Communication via text with the owner about these items was quick and complete. We were told the refrigerator had an ice machine however it was……

“The room was what we needed for the weekend. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, we were vendors at the Bennington garlic festival. But, we got a good night sleep and it was very comfortable.”

“Stayed at the sunshine Inn for one night on a visit to the Saratoga Battlefield. I chose it because it was close to the battlefield, even though it has the external look of a 1960s motel I was surprised to discover that the rooms had been updated nicely. The bed was comfortable and the room was immaculately clean. It was a delightful surprise. The rooms are on the small side, but adequate for a couple. I would stay there again.”

“The property and room itself was a nice space, and a good location, very quiet. It needed a little more care in the cleaning (some dusty areas along the baseboards and under tables). No one came to clean or check on the room during our two night stay. The self-serve property app - to check in and communicate with the staff - could not be accessed (an authentication issue due to our booking through Expedia and not directly with the property). We luckily ran into a staff member at check in who……

“The property was very dated... run down fixtures,, bathrooms.. sink and bathtub missing large areas of grout.. they were discolored by age and usage and very unpleasing...We received no maid service for the 3 nights we were there..no fresh linens nor any fresh towels. The parking lot and entrance ramp are dated and full of holes and uneven pavement and in need of repair....Therefore.. a poor rating is being nice...”
