「We were two large families that stayed here, and it was a great traditional Japanese home located close to many amenities (i.e. convenience stores, markets, and restarants, etc.), including the train station. The only thing I wish it had was an extra shower. Trying to get 10 people showered each day was a bit of a chore. Other than that, it had everything we needed for everyone to have a place to sleep and relax after a busy day of touring the city.」

「Host and location were wonderful I just have to be transparent and mention one small thing about the home, the washer smelled very mildewy and the tatami room upstairs smelled very strongly as well. It’s possible the house has issues with moisture in the summer but otherwise everything else was great other amenities worked perfectly. I would just be aware of the smells and possibly consider the laundromat a couple blocks away instead for clothes washing.」

「This place was just as the photos show and the hosts even let us drop our bags off early! I would warn those who are interested that if you sleep in the downstairs bedroom, you will hear much noise from the street during the night . If you are a heavy sleeper maybe you will be okay, but all the surrounding shops and venders were quite loud. On the other hand, it was very close to a subway stop so that was great!」
