「I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.」

「My tv did not work either night I was there. I reported it the morning following my first night and they said they would fix it. Still didn’t work the second night. Also the building I was in was 20-30 feet from a road. I was not aware of this when I booked. If I ever book again I will specify the location of the room as well as verify that the tv works. The Tremont is centrally located to everything you would want to do. The staff was very friendly and tried to help with my issues.」

「The room was clean and check in instructions were easy to follow. Breakfast was delicious each day. Parking was fine but sometimes not enough space to park at the end of the day. Not too much they can do about that. The only thing that was lacking was not enough utensils/plates/bowls etc in the room. The view was amazing and the property provided a great deal of privacy. I would definitely recommmend this location and stay here again.」

「Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.」

「We stayed in the newer part of the property. The building is very run down. Hallways and stairs are filthy. The room itself was clean for the most part except the bathroom was very rundown and needs upgrading. There was a large wet spot above the shower and you could hear something leaking onto it. It was gross. The toilet is slow to the ground your squatting. 」

「When we first got there we had to get another room because in the first room the TV was broke and there was blood splatter on the wall behind the TV but they switched us rooms without a problem. House keeping did not clean room until they were asked to on the 4th day of a 7 day stay. No phone to call the front desk for anything that you may need had to use one elevator because all the others were out of service and only one ice machine in the whole building on the 1st floor. 「Personal beim CheckIn sehr freundlich. Am Eingang wird auf renovierte Zimmer hingewiesen. Diese waren leider alle ausgebucht. Auf dem Hotelgelände genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Kosten nichts extra. Super angenehm, da Gatlinburg zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Man braucht daher kein Auto um Gatlinburg zu erkunden. Zimmer schon etwas älter. Aber alles sauber und ordentlich.」

「Nice an d clean in a pleasant location. Nice pool. On our arrival , as we did not know the area we asked the reception staff about the area and where to visit etc, she was uninterested in helping us and not very pleasant. Most of the staff seemed miserable, with a few exceptions.」
