「The property is beautiful and the food and spa were amazing. We upgraded and got access to a special restaurant, the sauna, steam room and hot tub in the spa every day. It was beautiful! Juan and Jose the bellmen were very helpful and Alan at check in was great! Angeles at the buffet was so sweet and the entire staff made sure I had a great birthday!」

「I stayed at Unico with a large group of family members. There were 14 of us total. We all had an amazing time an Unico. Firstly, we were assigned a host named Luis and he was awesome! He checked in with me every morning to see if I needed anything and to make reservations at any of the restaurants. We chatted through WhatsApp messenger which made everything easy. 「I was disappointed as this is advertised as a beach front hotel. Tjis is on the beach however it isn't accessible, and the seaweed was a big issue this season which isn't the hotel's fault but it did impact the stay and any time at the beach was unpleasant because of the piles and smell.
My main complaint is the constant hustling done by staff. It starts as a guise to ask about your stay and turns into are you interested in membership. This happened daily and multiple times a day. Too much...
