"Wenn man sich auf das Abenteuer ein indigenes Volk zu besuchen einlässt, muss man sich natürlich auf Einfachheit einstellen. Man schläft auf abgenutzten Matratzen und die sanitären Anlagen haben schon lange keine Reinigung erlebt. Trotzdem war es eine und interessante und informative Zeit. "From the moment i arrived at the property i felt a peaceful energy. the aesthetic of the hotel was my favorite, the beach was beautiful, loved the room. I was solo traveling, but didn’t feel alone at all. Staff made me feel at home. They truly outdid themselves very attentive and willing to help in anything you need! Ketzy at the reception so kind and helpful going out of her way! I recommend getting a massage by Michelle she was amazing worth every penny. At the bar and grill food was delicious and drinks. Brixie so sweet and attentive took great care of me and all the waitresses . I loved my stay there it was everything I needed I 100% recommend this hotel. And I would totally come back! It fits the puerto viejo pura vida vibe! Thank you hotel banana azul for an amazing time!"

"The property is gorgeous, the view is even better. The bungalow was spacious, spotless, and had everything needed for a perfect retreat. Park your car and let Carlos drive up the harrowing hillside, you’ll thank me later! I came late in the season after a powerful thunderstorm so the pool was closed, also there were no other guests, made for a lonely stay."

"We had such an amazing stay here. The room was the perfect size for me, my husband, and our two children, spacious, comfortable, and very well kept. Everything throughout the property was extremely clean, which made us feel right at home. The pool was a standout, super clean and well maintained, which we really appreciated. You can tell they put a lot of care into every detail. What truly made this stay exceptional was how attentive everyone was. The host communicated so well from start to finish, making everything smooth and stress-free. It’s those extra touches and level of care that really take the experience from good to unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place."

"Casa Elana is nestled in the heart of a tropical jungle. It is tranquil and peaceful. Many birds, howler monkeys, butterflies and more variety of insects than I could have imagined. Very little problem with mosquitos, One room is A/CSimple and adequate for a nice stay away from it all.A 4x4 is required to climb the 1000 ft mountain. "
