“My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. “The house is a bit up-hill. Better take a local taxi to drive you there. The host gave me a shortcut to walk down to the main road which is much convenient and fast for down-hill. This is a homestay, the host is living on the ground floor and 3 guestrooms on the second floor. I do love the common area upstair very much. Sit down with a cup of tea to relax for a whole day is the best moment in the house. The room is clean and comfortable. Though hot water seems not very work but still fine for……
