The pub itself is lovely, good food & comfortable clean rooms. However the lack of customer care lets it down. First as a previous customer mentioned is the welcome. 「I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. 「We have stayed here a few times about 9 years ago when we had reasons to be in north Devon. We were pleased to have had another opportunity last week. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a first rate bathroom. We had a very enjoyable dinner, some lovely wine and a splendid breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we really hope to be able to visit again sometime. Thank you!」
