“Staff were fantastic. We had to get moved out of our first room due to bad sewer smell from bathroom. The second room was dated, dilapidated. Shower door handle loose, rain shower head broken and sprayed everywhere. Cracked tiles on the step to the bathroom. Stain on carpet under desk, bed was so uncomfortable, it was like a mattress that most would throw out. Not sure why more money isn’t being spent on the “servant quarters” bedrooms as this place had a great reputation. Maybe some of the……

“The rooms were very large, the ensuite was clean and toiletries were provided. The only suggestion would be for the floorboards in the room above Sopwell (ground floor) to be screwed down as these were squeaky when the occupant in the room above was moving around which woke us up as the squeaks were quite loud. The free parking was great and the system was easy to use, the instructions sent prior to arrival were clear for the check-in and checkout process. ”

“The property is small and cozy as described, facilities are tidy and clean. We couldn’t receive the check-in instructions until we call at check-in time, the problem is solved quickly. A reminder that the toilet door is a reused old front door, that means when you lock it, you should lift the handle up first and then turn the button. The shower door needs a bit hard push to lock and avoid water came out. Overall is satisfactory! If a mirror added inside door the wardrobe, it would be……

“The place is old, but not an issue. But the sheets weren't really clean and found a pubic hairs on my pillow. I slept in my day clothes. The facilities had free parking. I parked and asked reception during check in if that's the right place to park and they advice me yes. After return home from my business trip, I get a parking ticket from the hotel. I provided my receipts and prove I actually stayed there but yet they still insist to charge me with debt collection. Two night stay was……
