“I’m not sure how it normally is but there was a shore break here that was so loud that we couldn’t even sleep. The ocean was so strong that it pulled the lounges almost into the water. One of the focuses here was drinking as it was all inclusive. As you can imagine people were doing stupid things under the influence. The resort was run down. The a/c was old, very loud and ineffective. I expected more from hotels with the IHG name on it.”

“It was a nice condo, liked the 3/2 accommodations, the pools were crowded and a bit outdated, children and adults mixed in, not relaxing at all since children were allowed to run all over the place. I love children but they needed a safe children’s pool for them only.”

“Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home.”
