"We had a wonderful stay at Oyado Kiyomizuya this fall! This ryoken offers an authentic onsen experience in the beautiful Noboribetsu onsen town. The staff were lovely and truly made this such a special place to stay. While other hotels may offer more modern facilities, Oyado Kiyomizuya provided a unique, authentic experience, from a peaceful private onsen, to spacious tatami mat rooms, to delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast and more. Thank you Oyado Kiyomizuya! We will definitely be back...

Top Washibetsu Hotel Reviews

Ryotei Hanayura Ryokan

10/10 Excellent

"Definitely well worth the price to experience a traditional Japanese room with a private onsen. Staff was very helpful in regards to planning out shuttles back to Sapporo or wherever your next destination is for departure. The breakfast and dinner options were an amazing omakase experience. Literally in an onsen town where you can walk around in your robes from public onsen to public onsen. Limited late night options around town outside from a bar that serves a variety of beverages and 2 konbini stores (seicomart and 7-11)."

"What a lovely place! It’s basic but has everything you need - clean, fridge, a safe and kettle & green tea, The bed was so comfortable. On one of the floors, there’s two microwaves and a seating area. I used this and it was very clean. There is a small Onsen and laundry facilities (which I didn’t use). I did use the Onsen facilities in their sister hotel directly opposite - wonderful! Highly recommended."
