“Was a bit spooky in house on my own as friends were in barn, breakfast was lovely and hosts friendly, I would stay again”

“The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again”

“We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there”

“Me and my friends were really looking forward to this weekend away, was very disappointed that first they toke my money from my card when it was pay at property I had to call to find out why? The breakfast food some was finished so we didn’t get some of the things the toaster was broken you had to keep waiting for cups, the surna was broken so was the jacuzzi, the person that makes the room didn’t even bother to re do the room. They tried to change be again for the massage when check out even……

“everything is good!”

“I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We……

“Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.”

“之前看评价说房间很差，担心了半天，入住后觉得一点也不差，就是房间里没有wifi信号（房间内收费），自己的网络也时有时无。如果选择一楼前台区域楼上的房间，可以接受到大堂的免费wifi信号。 我最喜欢的走10分钟来到海边栈道，一路晨跑，再看个日出把自己感动到哭。栈道会途径一个小镇及它的火车站，可以让你拍很久。”

“Room is clean.”

“房間比較殘舊，冇冷氣有點焗， 床褥不太舒適， 床單有小污漬，但酒店位置很好 ，去景點很方便，而且房間景觀開楊舒服。值得一提是酒店餐廳質素一流，價錢公道，食物非常出色，服務好，推薦大家可以試一試他們的晚餐。”

“We love the breakfast freshly cooked from the menu, there’s continental from the buffet as well. Apparently need to do some improvements with the room conditions. The housekeeper didn’t get the rubbish from the bin inside the toilet for 2 days. Hotel located opposite to the sea with beautiful views. Free parking along the road after 6pm until 9am. There is public parking available around. On the average ok for the stay, spacious room.”

“Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”
