Really lovely stay, the grounds are amazing. The room was really clean and the breakfast was fantastic! We loved the added extra of the pool facilities, lovely way to start a day off Can't wait to return in the future

Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Over the two nights we stay we eat both evenings and throughly enjoyed the food. The staff where very polite and helpfull with anything that they where asked. Will definantly stay again in the future.

Family weekend break

Very nice rooms, comfy beds. Grounds are very nice with a lake out the back. Food very nice and service was always really friendly. Swimming pool area seemed a bit dated so dont expect a modern spa feel but enjoyed it all the same.

Amazing location

Excellent property, fantastic facilities, could have stayed a lot longer than one night! Beautiful surroundings, great choice of food and drinks, beautifully cleaned room. So close to Windermere and other locations, but felt so far away from all the hustle and bustle! Highly recommended property for couples, groups and families.

Comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and steam and there is also a sauna, pool and gym. For me food is important and the dinner of triple roast birds (additional payment), was the best meal I’ve ever had, second to the breakfast there which was included in the cost

The hotel in general was spotless as was our lovely room which had a very comfortable bed.Being on the top floor we had a great view from the window. The breakfasts were filling and well staffed ( which feels like a luxury these days !) The grounds were well maintained and attractive to spend time in beside the flowers and the fountains. We had a very relaxing 2 nights in this rural setting

Relaxing time

Had a lovely relaxing stay. Beautiful garden and views. Our standard room had everything required, comfortable bed, kettle and beverages, hair dryer and a nice bathroom. We slept very well. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely return.

Really beautiful hotel and very cosy rooms, clean and comfortable. Nice to have use of the spa and gym. Lovely food in the restaurant. Receptionist extremely helpful and polite. The only thing I can say is that it was a bit chilly through the night.

Decent Hotel in need of refresh

Nice Hotel but in need of some updating, especially outside. Walls grimy in places and window frames badly need repainting. My room was a little cramped but ok. Main issue was lack of decent blinds / thick curtains to block out early morning light.

Comfortable Stay Reasonably priced

Staff were very courteous, don’t be afraid to ask for a different room if you are not happy. the first room I was allocated was not to my liking at all…. No view, directly onto flat roof with air con unit running outside, I asked the receptionist and given a choice of two other rooms and was moved to room number 3. Now this room was a little smaller but it was warm, had character nice furnishing, 4 poster bed very comfortable and a spa bath. Very clean. Food at the hotel was very good. Plenty of gardens to walk the dog.
