“It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely.
The area is stunning. We took a lovely walk along the path leading directly from the castle, and enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the hill.

“The location is central. The hotel is unique with spacious rooms and fabulous bathrooms. Everything in the room was complimentary. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. “Yes the only criticism was on the 15/4/26 in the restaurant they were pretty busy but the service was very slow which was a shame as it was our 48th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing but only having a main meal and dessert in 2 hours was not really acceptable. ”
