「For our first time experiencing a Ryokan Onsen as a family of 4, we wanted to experience one of the best in Kurokawa. And Gekkoju does not disappoint! The room was beautiful and spacious with a lot included. The staff helping us was super friendly and accommodating. The service and food was amazing.
The indoor and outdoor onsen that is private to our room was fantastic and personally we thought it was much better than hiking up to go to the prebooked outdoor sky terrace onsen, especially at...

「A very disappointed experience!
I booked this resort on Hotels.com, which clearly mentioned the room was equipped with private onsen. However, when we arrived the staff told us that there was a failure on the water pump and they couldnt provide onsen water!
The only solution they had offered was some PUBLIC onsen entries on its surrounding area…. This is totally unacceptable and disappointed that we drove so far to here and they couldnt provide this particular service, with no compensation and...

「The price is reasonable. Overall experience is ok. Free parking is available. The cats there are cute. Amenities are quite good as well. The Internet TV did not work, but the staff cannot anything with it. It’s not a big deal though. Meal time is quite limited. The hotel facilities are quite wore out, but it’s a 100 year plus premises.」
