「Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended.」

「The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances.
I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available.
The staff I met were also friendly and chatty.
I would highly recommend...

「Had a brilliant stay here with my son. It was super central, the bed was very comfy and room was very clean! All you need when you’re on a sightseeing holiday. Breakfast at the hotel was great value for money too- continental plus cooked breakfast if desired, all for £12.50 . The staff were always friendly and accommodating- the receptionist was lovely giving us recommendations for food etc x 」

「I had an excellent experience.
The landlord, Qin, was very enthusiastic and helpful in solving our problems.
The property I stayed in was located on the first floor, right next to the reception.
The room wasn’t very big but was cozy and warm.
It had a bathtub with plenty of hot water available.
The Wi-Fi wasn’t lightning-fast, but it was sufficient—I even managed to host a phone meeting one morning.
The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable and clean.
