There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car. In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels...

「This place has the wow factor. Very quirky, lots of thought has been given to the interior design. Very clean throughout and extremely comfortable. Right in the centre of York with many bars and restaurants close by. Highly recommend staying at The Old Mill. The alleyway next to the apartment is a bit noisy at night time as it backs onto a pub and rear of a restaurant but wouldn't put me off staying here again.」

「We like visiting York, but were a little disappointed because we couldn’t stay in the place that I am “writing a review about” we had to move elsewhere because of construction not the property owners fault, but disappointing nonetheless as from the pictures the place we were supposed to stay would’ve been better than the one we were in and it added 20 minutes each way to our walking and out of town.」

In addition, both the oven and the microwave were not working, which caused a significant inconvenience, especially during Christmas lunch.
